Congratulations to the Affiliate of the Month for March, the Carlton Gardens Tennis Club.

The Carlton Gardens Tennis Club (CGTC) is one of Melbourne’s oldest and most charming tennis clubs, situated in the Royal Carlton Gardens within walking distance to the CBD. The club has four LED-floodlit artificial grass courts under towering elm and oak trees. The heritage clubhouse has been fully renovated with changing rooms, a kitchen and a BBQ area. Ensuring the club is accessible to the whole community, public bookings are available.

The CGTC is a club focused on sustainable facilities and creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. The Club has a Sustainable Development Plan which aims to address the 17 Sustainable Development Goals UNESCO identify as ways to transform our world.

On the court, the club has an offering for everyone – with various social programs available for players of all abilities. They’re big on bringing people together and dedicated to doing what they can for their community under the banner of playing tennis and they showcased this with an RUOK Day event.
