Congratulations to the November Affiliate of the Month, Pomonal Tennis Club.

In May 2023, following four years in recession, a group of locals decided it was time to rejuvenate the Pomonal Tennis Club and get tennis back in the community!

In the months since, the club have cleaned up the courts, created a digital presence with ClubSpark and Facebook pages, signed up for Community Play and Tennis4Tenns, hosted an open day with a local tennis coach and gained interest in social tennis from the local community.

The club has had a strong focus on a membership drive and have already registered over 100 members, which includes locals and visitors to the Grampians region. They have also given out 50 Hot Shots racquets to juniors interested in playing tennis to drive participation.

The club are now turning their attention to fundraising to upgrade the court surface and are involved in the Masterplan of the Pomonal Recreation Reserve.
