Tennis Victoria and our affiliated clubs are fortunate to have the support of countless volunteers who make our tennis clubs the success that they are.  As a symbol of thanks, Tennis Victoria would like to officially thank our Volunteers for their contribution to tennis in Victoria. Highly Commended Service Awards / Tennis Service Awards

An award to recognise persons who have demonstrated their contribution to the sport of tennis through devoted and significant service to any one or more of Tennis Victoria’s affiliated tennis clubs and/or associations and/or member organisations. Service to other tennis related bodies may also be recognised. These awards are determined at the discretion of the Tennis Victoria Board. A Highly Commended Service Award recipient would ideally have served a club, centre or association for a minimum of 12 years of continuous or broken service. A Tennis Service Award would ideally have a minimum of 8 years continuous or broken service.

To nominate someone in your tennis community for a Highly Commended Service Award or Tennis Service award the President or Secretary of the tennis Club, Centre or Association must write a recommendation letter to the Tennis Victoria Board. For details on what to include in the letter click here.

 Awarded at Tennis Victoria’s Champions Dinner, the Victorian Tennis Awards are a way to reward and recognise the achievements of many within the Victorian Tennis Community. Categories for the awards in 2017 are:

Club Anniversary recognition

Is your club about to celebrate an anniversary?  If so, we’d love to recognise this special occasion with you.  Please complete the online form before your planned event and we will send you out a certificate of congratulations.

Volunteer recognition

Our tennis volunteers are so essential to the strength and success of the game and Tennis Victoria wants to recognise that.  If your club has a new volunteer or a volunteer that has served your club for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years please fill out the online form and we will send them out a certificate to thank them for all that they have contributed to the game.  Volunteer nominations must be lodged by the Club President or Secretary.

Player/Club/Coach recognition

Tennis Victoria recognises players and their nominated grassroots club(s) and coach(es) when a player reaches various levels of achievement.
