Sunshine Coast JDS Series – Your pathway from fixtures to junior tournaments.

The Sunshine Coast Junior Development Series Circuit is a series of tennis tournaments across the Sunshine Coast designed to act as a stepping stone from match play and fixtures into junior tournaments. Players are split into age groups consisting of 11/U, 13/U, 15/U and 17/U, with both singles and doubles being offered. JDS Events allow players to learn and understand the process, scoring format and nature of junior tennis tournaments.

A points race is kept throughout the year to determine who will earn their position on the Sunshine Coast Team. These players will compete against other regions at the JDS State Finals in Rockhampton in October. PLAYER ETIQUETTE AND BEHAVIOR 2023
A reminder that the Sunshine Coast Region does not tolerate inappropriate behavior on or off the court by both players and spectators.

The Sunshine Coast JDS series operate under the Tennis Australia National Code of behavior and penalties apply. This includes withdrawals after deadlines, during tournaments as well as both on and off court behavior by all relevant parties. Coloured Ball events will be played on separate weekends as part of the Sunshine Coast Coloured Ball Circuit.
