On Saturday 25 February, The Pines Tennis Club in Chisholm is set to hold Tennis Carnivale, a free tennis day for the community to raise money for Ronald McDonald Children’s House Canberra.

Over the past three years, the club has gone through an important transition phase, including court resurfacing, LED lighting and more recently, a new state of the art electronic gate access system. The system allows members to access the club and it’s facilities 24/7 after booking a court, with a simple access code.

Together with Canberra School of Tennis, the club delivers successful coaching programs, social tennis, pennant competitions on a regular basis and has further plans to expand the facility. The 2016 Tennis Carnivale event at The Pines attracted over 350 people.

Whether you’re coming to the free tennis day alone or with friends there will plenty of opportunities for a social hit with Free Play.

Tennis Carnivale 2017 will offer:

  • ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, where players use smaller courts, smaller racquets and low-compression tennis balls. A modified introductory form of tennis for kids, ANZ Tennis Hot Shots is a great fun way to get children rallying right from their first hit;
