Canberra Velocity will host the NSW/ACT Conference at the Canberra Tennis Centre in Lyneham, for the final two rounds of the season this weekend. The matches will feature a host of internationally ranked players as teams battle it out for finals positions. The Velocity Women will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run in 2014-15, while the Men will be looking to post their first win of the season. There will be plenty of off court action over the weekend as well with the Great-Tennis Tacular being held from 10am-2pm each day.

The Velocity Women will be strengthened on the weekend with the addition of world number 401 Alexandra Nancarrow to the lineup. The Manly Waves have proved the team to beat this year and feature a full line up of internationally ranked players including Matt Reid, Jordan Thompson (ATP 274), Matt Barton (ATP 521), and Jay Andrijic (ATP 1843). Velocity will have to be at their best on Saturday to defeat the Waves. Sunday will see Velocity line up against Sydney University Lions who are led by world number 487 Chris O’Connell.
