The 2010 Capital Open, held at the National Sports Club in Canberra was a huge success, with local and interstate competitors enjoying the sun and competition.

The event was a White Series Australian Money Tournament and a chance for players to earn Australian Ranking points.

New South Wales brothers Jake and Jarred Wynan were the talk of the event with the brothers entering a grueling finals battle on Sunday afternoon.

Older brother Jarred had lots to celebrate, turning 18 on the day of the event and coming from behind to beat Jake in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.

The brothers put their differences aside half an hour later when they competed in the men’s doubles event, this time on the same side of the net.
