The Spring ANZ Junior Pennant finals were held on Sunday 1 December at the Canberra Tennis Centre with 16 teams competing in the finals.
Kambah Tennis Club picked up victories in Division 1 and Division 2 red, while O’Connor Tennis Club took our Divisions 3 and 7. There was also success for Canberra Grammar School (Div 2 Blue), Queanbeyan Park Tennis Club (Div 4 Red), Kippax Tennis Club (Div 4 Blue), Eastlake Tennis Club (Div 5) and Red Hill Tennis Club (Div 6).
Tennis ACT Tournaments and competitions coordinator, Joel Gordon, said it had been great to watch the team develop over the season.
“It was great to see all players really working together as a team to play awesome doubles and the off court support throughout the singles.
“You can see over the pennant period the growth each team has made.”
