Looking to watch some world class tennis right here in Canberra?  Then the East Hotel Canberra Challenger is the place to be.  Taking place at the Canberra Tennis Centre from January 6-12, the event has attracted top 100 players from across the globe as they complete their final preparations for Australian Open 2019.

How much are tickets?

Entry into the East Hotel Canberra Challenger is FREE from January 6-11.  On finals day January 12, entry is by gold coin donation or a limited amount of reserved seating and VIP seats are available for purchase here.

Reserved Seating Zone: Introduced this year, the Reserved Seating Zone gives you the opportunity to sit in the first two rows – the best seats in the house! On entry you will receive a wristband which will give you access to the Reserved Seating Zone, and then you can select your seat. All seats have back support, seat cushions and are in the first two rows. Please note that some seats could be in the sun, depending on the time of day. The first final commences at 11am.

VIP Packages: Experience the ultimate VIP package! On arrival, enjoy canapes and drinks on the terrace, then make your way court side where lunch and beverages will be served throughout the finals. This is the perfect opportunity to host clients, or grab some friends to watch some of the best players in the world. Tickets are $85 per person, and includes your ticket, private catering and beverages throughout the event. Please note this area is for 18 years+. Some seats may be in the sun depending on the time of day. Entry is from 10:30am, with the first match to commence at 11am.

Twilight doubles session; 2pm – 7pm Friday 11 January 2019. Entry is Free. (TIME UPDATED due to predicted bad weather).

On the eve of the East Hotel Canberra Challenger finals, the popular Twilight Session returns to the Canberra Tennis Centre.

Catch all the action of the doubles semifinals on centre court, while experiencing local food and beverages from Canberra and region. There will be a chill out zone, where you can sit back and enjoy live entertainment, or grab a racquet and have a hit with mates on court.

There will be food vendors including BentSpoke Brewing Co, Canberra Region and Wine Merchants, Super Bao, , The Meat Wizard and a dessert station from Next Gen.

Food and Beverage

Please note, access to the Next Gen Canberra café is for members only.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the Tennis Pavilion, and on finals day (Saturday 12 January) there will be a range of food and beverages to purchase from local vendors from 10:30am.

Seating

Seating is available on a first come first served basis. Seating on centre court has shade cover. On finals day January 12, entry is by gold coin donation or a limited amount of reserved seating and VIP seats are available for purchase here.

Canberra Tennis Centre Location & Parking

The Canberra Tennis Centre is located at Riggall Pl, Lyneham.  Parking is available across the road at the National Hockey Centre.

Conditions of entry

No spectator may continually collect, disseminate, transmit, publish or release from the grounds of the Tournament any match scores or related statistical data during match play (from the commencement of a match through its conclusion for any commercial, betting or gambling purpose).

The continual use of laptop computers or other handheld electronic devices within the confines (spectator area) of the tournament match courts is prohibited.  The exception to this provision is properly credentialed media, tournament vendors and tournament staff when used in the performance of their duties.

No animals are permitted on site at the Canberra Tennis Centre, with the exception of guide dogs.
