The Kambah Tennis Club team of Marius van Rensburg, Patrick Roche and Manish Rasalinkim have claimed their fifth consecutive division one ANZ Junior Pennant title.   The team defeated Canberra Grammar School to claim the crown they have held since Autumn 2016.

With 68 teams spread across nine divisions, the autumn season of ANZ Junior Pennant saw 322 players compete.  Ten different clubs featured in finals, with Canberra Grammar School, Red Hill Tennis Club, and Eastlake Tennis Club all having three teams on finals day.

The division 3 blue final between Canberra Grammar School and Red Hill Tennis Club was a tight contest, with the scores locked at three-rubbers-all, Canberra Grammar won on a countback on games.  Canberra Grammar also claimed the division two title with a convincing win over Red Hill Tennis Club.

Division six was also locked at three-rubbers-all with Campbell edging out Red Hill Tennis Club 30 games to 26.  Campbell backed it up winning the division three red title.

In division 5 blue, Eastlake Tennis Club had both finalists with team 2 defeating their fellow club mates five rubbers to one. O’Connor Tennis Club took home two pennant crowns wining division 4 and 5 red, while The Pines Tennis Club won division seven.

ANZ Junior Pennant will return for the Spring season in September.
