Join in the summer of Tennis at Queanbeyan’s TENNIS FESTIVAL on Saturday 3rd February. This free event is part of Tennis Australia’s #GetCourtUp Open days and will include activities for the whole family, tennis lessons, giveaways and the chance to check out the latest tennis equipment.

Queanbeyan Park Tennis Club, vice president Kathy Sly says “Tennis Festival is a chance to welcome our new coach and showcase what our club has to offer for the local community”.

TENNIS FESTIVAL will feature free coaching clinics for adults and juniors of all ages as well as the opportunity to try out Cardio Tennis – a popular adult program for people who want a high energy tennis workout.

There will also be lots of family friendly activities such as jumping castles, face painting, 3-6 year old activity stations, and a speed serving competition. A BBQ and raffle will also be available to support the local charity “Home in Queanbeyan” who provide a supportive, loving home for 19 people with chronic mental illness.

“Tennis is a sport for all ages and being part of a club has many individual and community benefits” says Kathy, “we would love to see the community come down and support this event”
