Canberra players James Frawley and Dimitri Morogiannis will be looking to win through qualifying as the Apis Canberra International commences at the Canberra Tennis Centre on Saturday 28 October.

Frawley who is currently ranked 909 in the ATP rankings will take on Victorian Matthew Dellavedova in the opening round of qualifying.  Morogiannis who received a last minute wildcard into the tournament will face Michael Look (QLD).

A number of high profile players will also feature in qualifying action with world number 245 Omar Jasika, the top seed.  2015 Canberra International champion Ben Mitchell (QLD) will also play qualifying along with former top 200 players Greg Jones (NSW) and Matthew Barton (NSW).

Qualifying action will commence from 10am.

The Apis Canberra International 2017 is on at the Canberra Tennis Centre until November 5 2017. Entry is free with a gold coin donation requested on finals weekend
