On Saturday 14 October Canberra School of Tennis and the Weston Creek Tennis Club will host Tennis Carnivale; a free event featuring a variety of tennis activities, lessons and information for children and adults.

The event is sponsored by McDonalds and will also raise funds for Ronald McDonald house Canberra.

“Tennis Carnivale is for anybody that has an interest in tennis or would like to learn more about the game’ said head coach Mark Walton. ‘There is a large coaching and playing community here and we always love introducing new people to the sport,” he added.

“We have kids as young as 3 years old playing the game, as well as some older players closer to 93. Tennis really is the game for life.”

The Weston Creek tennis Club is the second largest in Canberra and features 12 synthetic grass tennis courts.

Tennis Carnivale will feature free coaching clinics for juniors and adults plus a variety of other activities including a giant slide, face painting, jumping castles, speed serving competition, sideshow alley, as well as a showcase of the latest tennis tennis equipment. Court hire is free throughout the event.
