Excitement is building ahead of the Tasmanian Tennis Awards.

Winners of the 2018 awards, which recognise outstanding performances, achievements and local contributions to the sport, will be revealed during a presentation evening at Burnie Tennis Club on Saturday 22 September.

“We are really impressed with the quality of nominations across the 10 award categories and looking forward to uniting the Tasmanian tennis community to celebrate all nominees and announce our deserving winners,” says Tennis Tasmania General Manager Darren Sturgess.

Australian favourite Casey Dellacqua, a former world No.3 in doubles, is joining the celebrations. Dellacqua, a Grand Slam mixed doubles champion and seven-time women’s doubles finalist, will meet fans and share stories from her stellar career.
