The HCi Burnie International is set to witness the return of its reigning champion in the Men’s ATP Challenger Tour singles draw – the current world No.71 and top seed, Rinky Hijikata.

Last year marked a milestone for the young Australian, with his triumph in Burnie acting as a springboard for his record-breaking season.

“I am excited to be back and looking forward to be playing again. I think it’s a quality field, we have really good depth in Australian tennis at the moment so I don’t there are going to be any easy matches,” Rinky Hijikata said.

In the Men’s ATP Challenger Tour, the tournament boasts an impressive roster of players, including Marc Polmans, Adam Walton, Tristian Schoolkate, Omar Jasika and James McCabe, among others.
