Thursday Evening Fixture Competition

Our new Thursday evening fixture competition commenced in February 2011. This new format fixture comp is suited to:

• working women,
• mothers of small children,
• university students,
• others for whom day-time tennis is not feasible and
• anyone who wishes to have another game of tennis in their week!

The features of the evening fixtures will be:

• women’s doubles,
• two players per team,
• two 6-game sets, 10-point tie-break if set-all,
• no requirement to provide food,
• all games for each division to be played in a central location,
• season will be aligned, as close as possible, to university and school holidays,
• providing a fun, healthy way to spend a Thursday evening!!
