Three local Super 10’s players have been selected to compete in the Super 10’s Finals in Melbourne during the Australian Open 2017.

60 players competed across NSW and the ACT last month. Based on the results of the competition, Canberra’s Aliyah Dywer, Hugh Taylor, and Marqaylar Tere have been selected to represent the ACT at the first Grand Slam of 2017, where they will compete against finalists from all eight states.

Super 10’s is an exciting competition designed for boys and girls 10 and under. Players competed in six rounds of competition which aim to facilitate a culture of fair play, team work, and acknowledgement for 10/U players each year.

Previous Super 10’s finalists have been given the opportunity to toss the coin at past Australian Open finals, participate in on-court demonstrations and attend Tennis Australia Talent Development camps.
