The Canberra Tennis Centre held their leg of the 2016 Junior Development Series on June 25-26 with 100 players participating.

It was great to see so many kids participating and a big congratulations to those who participated in their first JDS. There was some fantastic tennis on display throughout both days of competition. A big thank you to all of the parents and participants that braved the cold weather to give their children valuable match play.

The tournament is part of the Junior Development Series (JDS) which is designed to give players a first experience in playing tournaments throughout the year. The next JDS tournament is the Forrest Junior Open on August 6-7. Entries open soon and will close August 1^st.
