Fresh from her triumph at the 2024 Australian Open Junior Girls’ tournament, Slovakian sensation Renata Jamrichova has secured a wild card entry into the main draw of the Women’s ITF World Tour, at the HCi Burnie International this week.

The current world No. 1 Junior Girl is no stranger to the tournament, having participated in the Burnie International last year where she was knocked out in the first round by Alexandra Bozovic (AUS).

With her 2024 Australian Open experience and last year’s Burnie International experience fresh in her mind, Jamrichova is one to watch closely during this year’s Burnie International.

“It’s really windy here and the weather changes a lot so I’ll need to be ready to adapt ,” Renata Jamrichova said.

“I know how the courts play now” Jamrichova said as she reflected on her time at the Burnie International last year, hoping to improve this time around.

Schedule of Play

For those keen on following the tournament’s developments, updates will be readily available here. Additionally, an invitation is extended to tennis enthusiasts to experience the thrill of the game live at the Burnie Tennis Club.
