Almost 60 competitors took to the Tennis World Launceston courts over the Easter long weekend for the Tasmanian Easter Championships.

The event was held in ideal weather, with some high-quality tennis on display across all divisions, which ranged from 10/u through to AMT men’s and women’s events.

The strength of the AMT Men’s singles draw was a highlight, with Edward Bourchier taking out the men’s final against fellow Hobartian and rising star Sam Edgar.

Alicia Dale continued her rise in recent years, claiming the 14/u girls singles as well as both AMT women’s events, with Jake Elmer, Oliver Walker, Britta Russell, Ethan Clemons and Hunter Richardson among a host of junior standouts across the weekend.
