The globally renowned Rafa Nadal Tour is set to hit Tasmania as part of Tennis Australia’s long-term relationship with world No.2 Rafael Nadal.

A junior tennis circuit launched in Spain in 2014, the Rafa Nadal Tour has a strong focus on aiming to establish strong fundamental values, and this involves teaching and working towards the four main pillars of the tour: SPORTSMANSHIP, COMMITMENT, FELLOWSHIP and EFFORT.

The Junior Gold tournament, which will be held at Burnie Tennis Club from Saturday 17 – Tuesday 20 April, includes 12/u and 14/u singles events, as well as a Trophy of Values event, which recognises players from each event that show a positive attitude and behaviour on and off the court.

The four winning players from each singles event, as well as four selected winners of the Trophy of Values throughout the tour, also held in other states and territories, will progress to the end of circuit Australian Masters event.

Entries are now open, with acceptance based off Universal Tennis Rankings if registrations exceed the draw size.

The cost for each player is set at $50.
