Spanish coaching legend Jofre Porte is the special guest for a Hobart International Coach Development Workshop in January.

Porte, who trained former world No.1s Carlos Moya and Rafael Nadal, will present at the Monday 7 January workshop in Hobart.

All Tasmanian coaches are encouraged to attend the workshop, which is the biggest professional development event in the state, at the Domain Tennis Centre.

Porte will lead a two-hour on-court workshop, split into focusing on maximising performances in sessions and footwork.

The day also includes reserved centre court seating and hospitality package at the Hobart International.

Tennis Australia Coach Members can attend for free, while the price is $66 for non-members.

Registrations are also open for the Grand Slam Coaches’ Conference in Melbourne, held on the eve of the Australian Open from 11 to 13 January 2019.
