8 April 2013 | Tennis NT

AWOF Tennis Palmerston conducted an MLC Tennis Hot Shots Community Activation at the Palmerston Shopping Centre over the weekend.

A Red Stage court was located in the middle of the Palmerston Shopping Centre, providing children of all ages with the chance to participate in a game of tennis using the modified equipment available. Head Coach, Sam Giess and Tennis NT’s Community Tennis Officer Erin Bormann, were on hand to assist children on the court as well as providing information on the club.

All participants on the day took home some great giveaways and were entered into the raffle to win a tennis racquet, which will be drawn at the AWOF Tennis Palmerston Open Day Saturday 20 April 2013.
