The Tasmanian tennis community came together on Saturday 20 September for a night of celebration, recognising excellence both on and off the court at the annual Tasmanian Tennis Awards.

Hosted at the stunning Glen Albyn Estate in Hobart, the event welcomed a record crowd of 145 guests. A highlight of the evening was the attendance of special guest Daria Saville, whose presence added to the excitement of the occasion.

The night celebrated the achievements of players, coaches, clubs, schools, volunteers and officials who have made significant contributions to tennis across the state.

Congratulations were extended to all finalists and winners across the categories:

  • Most Outstanding Club – Kingston Tennis Club

  • Coach Excellence (Club) – Pip Martin

  • Coach Excellence (Development) – Jason Fletcher

  • Most Outstanding Player with a Disability – Ross Patterson

  • Most Outstanding Event – North vs North West Challenge

  • Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative – Hobart Out Tennis Club

  • Junior Athlete of the Year (Boy) – Charlie Marsden

  • Junior Athlete of the Year (Girl) – Alicia Dale and Escher Case-Boag

  • Excellence in Officiating – Sam Gleeson

  • Most Outstanding School – Launceston Church Grammar

  • Most Outstanding Senior 30+ – Stephen Dance

  • Volunteer Achievement Award – Helen Courtney-Pratt
