Nominations Open for 2025 Tasmanian Tennis Awards: A Celebration of the Tasmanian Tennis Community

The Tasmanian tennis community is once again preparing to honour some of its most dedicated and inspiring contributors, with nominations now open for the 2025 Tasmanian Tennis Awards. These annual awards celebrate the individuals, clubs and organisations whose passion and commitment continue to shape and strengthen tennis across the state.

Tennis Tasmania is calling on the public to nominate those who have made a significant impact in the Tasmanian tennis community. The awards highlight excellence both on and off the court, recognising the many roles that contribute to the sport’s success.

The nominations process starts off with a quick EOI – taking just 5-10 minutes – and are due by 27 July.

Tennis Tasmania staff work with the community to receive EOIs and EOIs that meet the selection criteria are then invited to expand on the EOI and provide more detailed nominations.

When the nomination period closes, nominations are then passed to a selection panel made up of Tennis Tasmania Board Members, Tennis Australia and sometimes other State / Territory Associations.

Any conflicts or perceived conflicts are managed to remove and avoid in the voting process.

Nominations close on Sunday, 27 July 2025 at 11:59pm AEDT. Submissions can be made online: tennis.com.au/tas/tasmanian-tennis-awards.

• Coaching Excellence
• Excellence in Officiating
• Volunteer Achievement
• Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability
• Most Outstanding Club or Venue
• Most Outstanding School
• Most Outstanding Tennis Senior 30+
• Junior Athlete of the Year (Male & Female)
• Most Outstanding Tournament
• Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative

This year’s winners will be announced at the 2025 Tasmanian Tennis Awards Night, to be held on Saturday, 20 September 2025 at the picturesque Glen Albyn Estate. The evening promises to be a memorable celebration of the people who make tennis thrive in Tasmania.
