In a thrilling day of tennis action, Tasmania’s top contenders showcased their talent and determination in the Quarter Finals of the 2024 Australia Cup.

Number one seed Alicia Dale (TAS) delivered a dominant performance against Tara Aleksic from Western Australia with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 victory, securing her place in tomorrow’s Semi Final, where she will go head-to-head with Amy Findlay (WA).

Fresh off her victory over third seed Brooke Komorowski (NSW) yesterday, Escher Case-Boag (TAS) faced a formidable opponent in Amy Findlay (WA) and despite her best efforts, Case-Boag narrowly missed out on progressing to the Semi Final.

In the 2024 Jack Pizzey Cup, Tasmania prepares to face the ACT tomorrow morning at Sunshine Tennis Club, setting the stage for another day of thrilling competition.

At the Domain Tennis Centre, spectators can expect intense matchups between QLD and NSW, as well as WA and VIC, followed by an afternoon of 2024 Australia Cup Main Draw and Consolation rounds.

Be sure to be at the Domain Tennis Centre for 12pm when number one seed Alicia Dale (TAS) takes to the court in her 2024 Australia Cup Semi Final match.
