Congratulations to Nightcliff Primary School and the Gove Peninsula Tennis Club, who have both been named as finalists for the 2012 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards.

Nightcliff Primary School has been named a finalist for the Most Outstanding School Category.

Gove Peninsula Tennis Club has been named a finalist for the Most Outstanding Club as well as the Most Outstanding Tennis Community.

This is Gove’s third consecutive year as a finalist at the Newcombe Medal, Australia Tennis Awards, previously winning the Most Outstanding Club in 2010 and the Most Outstanding Tennis Community in 2011.


Nightcliff Primary School – The first school in Australia to have permanent MLC Tennis Hot Shots courts laid.
