*Please note: As of July 1st 2018, all users of the courts must pay a court hire fee to use the courts. This includes both members and non-members. Members – $10/hour, Non-Members – $20/hour


  • 8 x Synthetic Grass Courts
  • 1 x Acrylic Hard Court
  • 4 x Junior Acrylic Hard Courts (Hot Shots)
  • Hitting Wall
  • Pro Shop (enquire within clubhouse with Nathan Wilkins)


  • Cost for Members – $10 per hour
  • Cost for Non-members: $20 per hour.

How to hire the courts

  • Bookings are not necessary for casual court hire.
  • Visit The Winning Post Motor Inn at 101 Church St, Mudgee (diagonally opposite the courts) prior to play to pay your appropriate fees and collect the court keys.
  • Return keys to The Winning Post Motor Inn prior to play.
  • Lock the courts when you leave.
  • We ask that members bring photo ID with them when playing casually on the courts.
  • Children under 12 must bring an adult with them to The Winning Post Motor Inn to pay fees and collect the court keys.

Evening play – light fees: $12 per hour. Members and non-members must pay the light fee by inserting coins into the light boxes at the Clubhouse.

  • 12 x $1 coins needed for Courts 1&2
  • 6 x $2 coins needed for Courts 3-8
    Note: Lights will not work if less than $12 is inserted.


The number of courts available for casual hire varies. Social tennis competitions, lessons and tournaments take priority.

  • Social tennis competitions are held throughout the year and may reduce court availability at some times. Check at the Clubhouse for up to date information.
  • Lessons take place on 1-2 courts both day and night Monday to Friday.
  • Tournaments are held on the courts from time to time. Check our Facebook page

Group & School Bookings

Groups of all sizes are welcome but you do need to book in advance. Racquet hire and tennis balls are also available.
