Shaw Park Tennis and Gear Club Championships

An extremely successful event took place on the first Sunday of June at Shaw Park Tennis Centre. Over 120 people competed in a gruelling war of wits, skill and fitness to secure their name on Shaw Park’s Championship Board. There were  over 10 hours of tennis  played across 4 divisions which concluded with smiles and good sportsmanship.

Overall, it was a fantastic day made possible by all those who attended and played as well as the Committee who took care of the BBQ and food preparation. With loads of prizes, trophies and awards given out on the day the 2014 Club Championships was definitely a fantastic day to attend. Shaw Park would like to thank all those who attended and made the day a success… Can’t next year to do it again!
