Over halfway into what has been a breakthrough year in tournaments in Tasmania we have a brand new Fast4 tournament which is set to be held in Launceston September 6-7 at the Launceston Regional Tennis Centre.

This brand new format is set to be tested in tournaments right across Australia with its shortened format of best of three sets to four with a shortened tie-break (to 5) at three games all and no advantage scoring. This new format is sure to create excitement with the match time set to dramatically decrease and thus more matches being played throughout the day. This new format will appeal to time poor players who are looking to complete a tournament in 1-2 days.

With this ‘fresh’ and ‘funky’ new game changer we are very excited to test this new tournament and appeal to a wider audience of tournament players.
