Jelena Dokic was our guest speaker today and Paul Kilderry the tournament director interviewed her on all aspects of her career.     2 girls who have done very well in the national showdown in the eastern states were also guests and interviewed by  our ever popular M.C. Peter Vlahos  and they were Anja Dokic  who won  the under 16 singles and Madison Inglis who won the under 18 singles. Also present were Rob and Val Kilderry and our wonderful Doris Brinkhaus who has donated those stunning diamond encrusted tennis balls to the winners of the Hopman Cup for the past 25 years.  Doris was presented with  a well deserved gift for her continual support for the Women in Tennis ongoing raffles and today she kindly donated 2 gorgeous gold diamond tennis ball pendants And a stunning diamond gold pendant.  A tennis dress and racquet worn and used by Sam stosar at the Wimbledon this year were sold by auction.
