The Venue & Opportunity
Alice Springs boasts a rich tennis history, having hosted ITF-level tournaments and fostered a passionate local player base and sporting community. The Alice Springs Tennis Association is run by a very engaged committee who are keen to work closely with a new operator for the mutual success and growth of tennis in the community.
The successful operator will receive exclusive operating rights at the Alice Springs Tennis Association, a premier regional facility featuring:
- 8 Synthetic Grass Courts & 2 Hardcourts (Freshly resurfaced in late 2024).
- Dedicated Pickleball Equipment to tap into the fastest-growing racquet sport in the region.
- Central Clubhouse with a strong history of competitions and social programs.
Support from Tennis NT
We are committed to your success. Tennis NT will support the incoming operator through:
- Seed funding to assist with the transition.
- Marketing and promotional support to drive participation.
- A long-term partnership framework designed to build a sustainable, thriving coaching business.
Skills & Experience
- Qualification: Minimum Tennis Australia Development Coach (or equivalent) preferred.
- Versatility: Demonstrated experience coaching various age groups and skill levels.
- Passion: A drive to provide pathways and grow participation in a remote, rewarding environment.
- Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), valid driver’s licence, and reliable transport.
