Alice Springs local Ethan Scobie will make his Pro Tour – Main Draw singles debut tomorrow, Tuesday 30 September when he takes on seventh seed Andrew Whittington of Victoria.

Scobie will have his work cut out for him against Whittington, who has a World Ranking of 423 and is the defeating doubles champion from 2013 with Alex Bolt. Whittington also advanced to the Quarter-Finals of the 2013 Australian Open Men’s Doubles with Bolt.

Scobie won his way through qualifying with a 6-1 6-3 win over Alex Aley (QLD) and a 6-1 7-5 win over fifth seed Andrew Corbitt (QLD) to advance to the main draw.
