Des McLellan was again the saving grace for AWOF Sports securing the only rubber for the team in his #1 singles. McLellan defeated Mark Pead in a close match that lasted the distance, winning 6-7 6-1 10-6. International ring-in Naomi Fellows had a convincing singles win over Lucas Frichot as did fellow Gardens teammates Andrew Hawke and fill-in Ben McLachlan.
