The Alice Springs Tennis International proudly sponsored by the NT Government is set to take place at Tennis Alice Springs from 22 – 29 September 2013.

Defending Champion Matthew Barton (NSW) will be returning to Alice Springs as the top seed, with some fond memories of his first Futures title last year.

Adam Feeney (NSW) who recently won his sixth singles Futures title at the Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba Men’s International two weeks ago will be leading the Australian charge along with Alex Bolt (SA), Jordan Thompson (NSW), James Lemke (VIC) and 2011 Junior Wimbledon and 2012 Australian Open Junior Champion Luke Saville (SA).

A host of junior talent is also set to compete for the USD$15,000 total prize purse with AIS scholarship holders Harry Bourchier (TAS), Jacob Grills (VIC) and Blake Mott (NSW) likely to compete.

Tennis Alice Springs will have four players in qualifying, all looking to make the Main Draw, they include Nicholas Whyte, George Shepheard, Jake Johan and Ethan Scobie.

This year, as well as top-class tennis action on the court, the Alice Springs Tennis International will include a free AO Blitz Community Event, MLC Tennis Hot Shots in Schools visits and Cardio Tennis in Secondary Schools visits.

Qualifying will commence from Sunday 22 September with Main Draw starting on Tuesday 24 September.
