Round Seven saw Nicholas Munro (TP2) finding some form being undefeated on Wednesday night. Munro overcame AWOF #1 Desmond McLellan 6-4 6-4, before teaming with Rhys Janes to defeat McLellan and Maddy Murray 6-4 6-3.

Gardens Tennis 1 secure away win against Tennis Palmerston 1

Daniel Parker was the saving grace for Tennis Palmerston 1 securing both matches on Wednesday night. Parker defeated Harrison Lee-Schell in the #1 singles 6-4 6-2, before teaming with Sam Giess to defeat Lee-Schell and Steve Lewis-Driver 6-4 6-1. However the night belonged to Gardens Tennis 1 with Lewis-Driver, Michael Shepheard and David Bridges securing their respective singles matches.

After Round Seven of the People’s Choice Metro League Michael Shepheard (GT1) and David Bridges (GT1) are still tied for the Player of the Year with Daniel Parker (TP1) one point behind.

Gardens Tennis 1 has a comfortable lead on the People’s Choice Metro League Ladder, 14 points ahead of their nearest rivals, Gardens Tennis 2.
