Tennis Gove and the Gove Peninsula Tennis Club conducted its annual ‘Kids Tennis Day’ and ‘Sign On Day’ Saturday 2 February 2013.

The three court tennis club, known as “The Biggest, Smallest Club in Australia” had over 120 new and existing players walk through the gate, with around 70 children registering on the day. Everyone got to experience an amazing morning of tennis, in warm conditions which included:
> MLC Tennis Hot Shots – Red/Orange/Green Stages
> Social Hitting
> Hit the Target
> Games and giveaways
> and a free sausage sizzle

Local Radio station, Gove FM also got into the action, broadcasting live from the clubhouse verandah.

The Tennis Gove Open Day forms part of the Power and Water Regional Development Program.
