A huge congratulations to all the talented players who competed in the intensely exciting 2025 Territory Finals! This tournament invited the Territory’s top-ranked junior players, based on their UTR (Universal Tennis Ranking) and their Junior Points accumulated from events played throughout the year – showcasing sportsmanship and thrilling action. All matches snuck past the rain over the weekend, bearing the build-up of heat and humidity on court.

12U Boy’s Finals
Champion Darius Chung [1] secured the title with a dominant performance against Finalist Niranjan Ilayaraja [2]
Score: 6-2 6-0
14U Boy’s Finals
The Champion trophy went to Ethan Harker [1], with a commanding win against Finalist William Pengelly [2].
Score: 6-1 6-1
14U Girl’s Finals
Champion Imogen Hoppo [1] clinched a nail-biting victory against Finalist Taylor Albury [3] in a match that truly went the distance.
Score: 7-6 2-6 [10-8]
Gritty Performances in the 14U Girl’s
A special recognition must be given to the 14U Girl’s Premier Singles category, as they provided some truly unforgettable grit getting to the finish line. All matches in the Semi-Finals and Finals were close calls, requiring a Match-Tiebreak to determine the winner, highlighting the incredible level of parity and competitive spirit with our Territory girls.

A massive well done to all our newly crowned Champions. Your dedication throughout the year has truly paid off! This fantastic event successfully concludes the junior tournament calendar for 2025. We also acknowledge the tremendous effort of all finalists and invited players whose competitive spirit made the event such a success.
