The curtains have closed on Darwin’s first Australian Pro Tour ITF World Tennis Tour event, and it was a spectacular finish!

Saturday night, we saw a thrilling Women’s Doubles final. Huge congratulations to Monique BARRY (NZL) & Gabriella DA SILVA FICK (AUS) [2] who fought hard for the victory against the formidable pair of Reina GOTO (JPN) & Brooke BLACK (GBR).
The excitement peaked Sunday afternoon in the Singles Final, where Australia’s own Taylah PRESTON (AUS) [1] took home the title! In a commanding performance, she defeated Shiho AKITA (JPN) [5] with a final score of 7-6 (3), 6-3. What a win!
A massive thank you to all the dedicated players, supporters, tournament staff, officials and our partners; Argus Accommodation & Darwin Motor Group who made this week an incredible success!
But the action is far from over! We look forward to welcoming you back to the next NT International tournament, with matches running every day this week, starting at 3:00 PM!
