ABOUT: This is a new league to trial a platform that allows flexibility in organising your own match time, place and day in a doubles round-robin format.

Welcoming the NT’s Talent and Coach Manager – Martin Rocca
We are delighted to announce our new Talent and Coach Manager Martin Rocca.
Martin is Argentinian and has coached in Buenos Aires, New York, Barcelona, and for the last 2 years has been a Coach Education Specialist for Tennis Australia based in Melbourne. Martin delivered the Trainee Coaching Course in Darwin last May 2024 and is looking forward to working with all of us in the NT to develop coaches and local talent.

School Sport Australia 12 and under Tennis pathway (also known as the Bruce Cup)
Every year, School Sport Education NT “SSENT” run regional, inter-region, and national events to grow the school sport pathway.

DITC’S FIRST OPEN TOURNAMENT
Centre Manager and Head Coach Andy hosted Darwin International Tennis Centre’s first Open tournament over the Anzac weekend!
‘Over three exciting days, we successfully hosted 143 matches, and we couldn’t be prouder of the energy, sportsmanship, and community spirit on display.’ Also we were all happy to see an exciting final where Andy took down “Mr Consistent”, fellow coach Hayden Litis.

Katherine Tennis Club held their annual Open $3k tournament over the May Day weekend!

10U GREEN BALL NATIONALS – GREEN BALL POINTS RACE
The 10 and under Green Ball Nationals provides a world-class tournament experience for Australia’s best young players – helping to shape their love of the sport through positive early competition.
Eight boys and eight girls will receive an invite based on their UTR. All other players will need to qualify through their state qualification process.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA – NT
From accumulating points in the Points Race that consists of the NT Coloured Ball tournaments, commencing in April and concluding in July, one boy and girl will be selected.
Tennis NT will host an NT Qualifying event held on the 26th – 27th of July to determine the other boy and girl who qualify.
