5 November 2013 | Tennis NT

Nightcliff Primary School has taken out the Inter-School Challenge Cup for the second year in a row, defeating The Essington School Darwin 5 Rubbers to 2 in August 2013.

Tennis NT along with two Darwin schools (Nightcliff Primary School and The Essington School Darwin) have successfully completed their second after schools competition which aims to eventually become part of the national competition framework.

The Inter-School Challenge Cup aims to support schools who are currently and/or interested in running a tennis program.

This is an exciting opportunity for students to participate in an organised tennis competition whilst representing their school.

Tennis NT is in charge of running the competition, as well as providing trophies to participating players/school.

Schools are in charge of selecting teams, providing a suitable venue, teacher/parent supervision as well as internal promotion at their school.
