The St Therese’s Tennis Club had a proud and happy history for over 60 years at Amy Street, Moonah.
However, in 2014, the owners of the land (the Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart) advised us any future lease would be on a commercial basis, something which our not-for-profit Club was unable to afford. Sadly, despite many months of attempting to resolve the matter, the owners required us to vacate the premises in April 2016.
We thank the tennis community for their support during this period. Of particular note has been Geilston Bay Tennis Club and New Town Catholic Tennis Club for warmly welcoming our members in playing social and AYC tennis at their facilities.
