Play resuming during Stage 2 COVID-19

After many long awaited months, the council have partially removed restrictions at the Werribee Tennis Club.

What does this mean?

What restrictions are currently in place?

  • Players who are not members will not be able to use the tennis courts until further notice to ensure the Tennis Club can monitor usage and guidelines in place.
  • Club house will not be opened during this period.
  • Guidelines must be adhered to over this period. Councils and State Government are monitoring infection rates.

What is still to come?

  • Opening the tennis courts to all players targeted for 1st June 2020.
  • More information about coaching and classes.
  • Statuses of competitions. Deciding when competition will recommence is at the discretion of the relevant association in conjunction with; Clubs, Councils and Tennis Australia.
