Unfortunately none of the Western Australian\u2019s were able to pass the first round going down to international opponents.<\/p>\n<p>Xinyu Gao (CHN) def <strong>Maddison Inglis<\/strong> 7-6, 3-6, 9-7<br \/>\nAliona Bolsova Zadoinov (ESP) def <strong>Anja Dokic<\/strong> 7-6, 6-4<br \/>\nChristian Sigsgaard (DEN) def <strong>Scott Jones<\/strong> 6-1, 6-3<\/p>\n<p>Maddison Inglis was awarded a number of opportunities to gain some valuable experience on the women\u2019s tour after receiving wildcards into the qualifying event of the WTA Hobart International event and the Australian Open Women\u2019s qualifying event. Maddison then teamed up with her partner Alex Nancarrow (ACT) in the Australian Open Women\u2019s doubles event losing 6\/4 6\/1 to Julia Goerges and Anna-Lena Groenefeld from Germany.
