We are delighted to have Volkswagen on board and excited they can commit to the Hopman Cup. The world\u2019s best tennis players will no doubt enjoy being transported around in Volkswagen vehicles next month,\u201d said <strong>Paul Kilderry<\/strong>, Hopman Cup Tournament Director.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo partner with an innovative, award winning brand, known for its quality, is a great opportunity for the Hopman Cup and reinforces the event\u2019s strength in attracting prominent partnerships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen Australia General Manager Marketing, <strong>Ben Wilks<\/strong>, is pleased to announce this new partnership which sees Volkswagen having a close association with tennis now across four states.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just wouldn\u2019t be an Australian summer without the tennis, and we\u2019re thrilled to be further expanding our relationship with the sport to include the Hopman Cup.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to see tennis as a great way to showcase our range and the innovative technologies we offer in our vehicles, and we can\u2019t wait to bring exciting Volkswagen experiences to tennis fans throughout the summer,\u201d said Wilks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the Hopman Cup a fleet of 25 Volkswagen cars will help transport the world\u2019s best tennis players and officials around Perth in early January.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen will also activate the following during the seven day event:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Volkswagen Baseline Challenge<\/strong> \u2013 taking place every day at Perth Arena, giving tennis fans the opportunity to take to centre court for the chance to win a Volkswagen Polo 66TSI Trendline<\/li>\n<li><strong>Volkswagen Serving Challenge<\/strong> &#8211; fans can test the speed of their serve with the aim of featuring on the daily leaderboard<\/li>\n<li><strong>Volkswagen Guessing Competition<\/strong> &#8211; fans have the opportunity to win great prizes, simply by guessing the number of tennis balls placed inside a Volkswagen Scirocco R.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen will also be running their new online tennis game, <em>Volkswagen Das Auto Tennis<\/em>, at <a href=\"http:\/\/volkswagenaustralia.com.au\/Sponsorship\/Tennis\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>vwtennis.com.au<\/strong><\/a> where there will be more prizes and experiences to be won.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hopman Cup 2015 is the official mixed team competition of the ITF and is proudly supported locally by the State Government, through Tourism WA.
