All athletes competed in two Australian Ranking Tournaments; 2014 Solinco Series \u2013 Queensland Junior Claycourt Championships &amp; 2014 Rod Laver Lead In presented by Tennis &amp; Gear Online.<\/p>\n<p>The Regional Talent Development (RTD) Program is a scholarship in which regional athletes are able to apply for, if they meet a set criteria. Four of the eight successful athletes received a full scholarship which included funding to support their tennis development (equipment, coaching, travel, tournament fees etc) as well as a subsidised tour interstate. Full scholarship holders were; Michael Frayne (Bunbury), Madelaine Muller-Hughes (Australind), Kayla Myburgh (Bunbury) and Kenneth Prete (Bunbury). A further four athletes were invited to Queensland who just missed out on the full scholarship. These athletes were; Jarrod Capararo (Albany), Mitchell Fraser (Busselton), Joshua Tait (Bunbury) and Colten Way (Esperance).
