Expressions of Interest are now being accepted for the 2014\/15 National Court Rebate.<\/p>\n
What is the National Court Rebate?<\/strong> Who is it for?<\/strong> How do I apply?<\/strong> What funding may I be eligible for?<\/strong> Priority will not be given to the following projects: 2014\/15 Funding Rounds<\/strong>
\nThe National Court Rebate (NCR) assists member affiliates, local government and National School Partnership Program (NSPP) schools to develop new tennis courts or upgrade old courts and associated infrastructure, including clubhouses.<\/p>\n
\nThe NCR invites expressions of interest from affiliated bodies, local government and registered NSPP schools for funding assistance to develop or upgrade court surfaces and associated venue infrastructure.<\/p>\n
\nSTEP 1 \u2013 Review the National Court Rebate information booklet
\nSTEP 2 \u2013 Check the Frequently Asked Questions document if you have any questions
\nSTEP 3 \u2013 Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form accessed via Tennis West
\nSTEP 4 \u2013 Tennis Australia or Tennis West will contact the applicant within 30 days to discuss the project further
\nSTEP 5 \u2013 Successful EOI applicants will receive an invitation to progress to full application under a specific funding round
\nSTEP 6 \u2013 Full applications are assessed against eligibility criteria
\nSTEP 7 \u2013 Successful applicants receive funding upon project completion<\/p>\n
\nExpressions of interest for funding assistance can be requested for base preparation and court development, lighting, surface or resurfacing, venue development or upgrades, fencing, water saving and ancillary items, including hitting walls.
\nPriority will be given to projects that demonstrate the following:
\n\u2022 Increase playing hours e.g. new court development will be prioritised over resurfacing and lighting will be prioritised over fencing.
\n\u2022 Incorporate ANZ Tennis Hot Shots courts or line markings into their development proposal.
\n\u2022 Priority will be given to projects that provide access to Grand Slam surfaces, particularly the surface of the Australian Open and Tier 1 clay courts.
\n\u2022 Develop tennis in growth areas or in areas where there is a high demand for tennis courts.
\n\u2022 Have already secured significant funding or that are funded in part by the applicant.
\n\u2022 Demonstrate environmentally sustainable practices and Disability Discrimination Act approval.
\n\u2022 Demonstrate community partnerships at your venue.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ancillaries alone (e.g. fencing)
\n\u2022 Projects at venues that don\u2019t provide access to any Grand Slam surfaces.
\n\u2022 Maintenance projects.
\n\u2022 Projects that do not have committed funding from other sources.<\/p>\n
\nIn 2014\/15 NCR funding will be divided into two (2) funding rounds.
\nRound 1 will open on 1st July 2014 and will close on 1st August 2014 with successful EOI applicants receiving invitations to move to full application announced 30th September 2014.
\nRound 2 will open on 1st October 2014 and will close on 19th December 2014 with successful EOI applicants receiving invitations to move to full application announced 27th February 2015.
\nAny Expressions of Interest received prior to 1st July 2014 will be considered as part of Round 1.<\/p>\n
