WA Junior Sport Fundraising for Telethon 2014<\/strong>
\n26th & 27th July 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

WA junior sport fundraising for WA children\u2019s charities linked to Telethon and we need your help!<\/p>\n

How will it work?<\/strong>
\nFundraising activities can be determined by individual sports clubs and held anytime over the weekend of 26 & 27 July 2014<\/strong>. WASF and Telethon will provide promotional material and fundraising ideas to clubs. Once a sporting club has registered for the event, all relevant information including various fundraising ideas and handy hints for promoting the fundraiser will be emailed to them. The fundraiser can be as simple as proceeds from a sausage sizzle, general club donations or loose change from the kiosk etc! Click here for some handy fundraising hints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where does the money go?<\/strong>
\nYour code and club will help the kids of WA! Telethon supports the medical and social welfare of children and young people. Funds raised will further research into children\u2019s diseases, establish new facilities, provide counselling and support services for children and young people as well as purchase life-saving medical equipment.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong>
\nClubs can register at www.wasportsfed.asn.au<\/a> or by phoning the WA Sports Federation on 9387 8100. Funds collected will simply be electronically transferred a special bank account.<\/p>\n
