The players are <strong>Megan Kaufmann, Ivana Vojinovic, Olivia Rimmer, Isaleyarna Bailey, Meg Connell<\/strong> and <strong>Charleen Tiwari<\/strong>. With all\u00a0six girls in the 16 and\u00a0under draw this is the highest representation of any club in <strong>Australia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cThis is a result of the hard work of both the players and coaches. We have been planning for this event for the last 6 months and all the players have worked exceptionally hard in order to prepare themselves\u201d. Explains Joe McCarthy.<\/p>\n<p>All members are part of the <strong>Global Tennis <\/strong>\u00a0High Performance programme and\u00a0have recently competed in <strong>Tasmania<\/strong> and <strong>South Australia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cGiving the athletes the opportunity of travelling interstate and abroad to play against the very best is a vital step in there development\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Megan Kauffman<\/strong> has gained an acceptance directly into the main draw which <strong>McCarthy<\/strong> explains is a result of <strong>Megan\u2019s<\/strong> work ethic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMegan is an example to all our players that by\u00a0putting in the hours on the court in a planned and intense environment will pay off eventually.
