{"id":7941,"date":"2013-11-26T14:59:19","date_gmt":"2013-11-26T06:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/?p=7941"},"modified":"2013-11-26T14:59:19","modified_gmt":"2013-11-26T06:59:19","slug":"summer-social-tennis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/news\/2013\/11\/26\/summer-social-tennis","title":{"rendered":"Wheelchair Sports Summer Social Tennis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Wheelchair Sports\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2013\/11\/WCSWA-Social-Tennis-Program-2013-2.pdf\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7945\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7945\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/wa\/files\/2013\/11\/Wheelchair-Sport-216x306.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is that time of year for\u00a0the Wheelchair Summer Social Tennis Program to begin!<\/p>\n<p>Wheelchair Sports WA\u00a0have a six week social program ahead, commencing on <strong>Tuesday December 3<sup>rd<\/sup> @ 18:00-20:00<\/strong> here at Herb Graham, for adults as well as juniors.<\/p>\n<p>This session will be run by our friends at Tennis West, and there may even be a special appearance of the Hyundai Hopman Cup which you could come and get a photo with!<\/p>\n<p>(And yes, there will be a Sausage Sizzle!)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The dates for the social program are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup> December 18:00-20:00<\/li>\n<li>10<sup>th<\/sup> December 18:00-20:00<\/li>\n<li>17<sup>th<\/sup> December 18:00 \u2013 20:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0There will\u00a0be a two week break over the Christmas and New Year Period, resuming on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7<sup>th<\/sup> January 18:00-20:00<\/li>\n<li>14<sup>th<\/sup> January 18:00-20:00<\/li>\n<li>21<sup>st<\/sup> January 18:00-20:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following this social program,\u00a0Wheelchair Spors WA\u00a0will be announcing a 6 week Tennis Camp in partnership with Tennis West\u00a0 on Wednesday nights at the State Tennis Centre, running in February\/March.<\/p>\n<p>This Program will focus more on technique and tennis skills, providing players with more analysis and coaching, for those interested in taking the sport a bit further.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0If you would like to attend this first social session then please RSVP to Charlie Maughan by <strong>Thursday 28<sup>th<\/sup> November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It would also be appreciated if you could inform\u00a0Charlie as to whether you would be interested in the coaching sessions in Feb\/March so that we can start gauging interest.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like any more information or if you have any queries then please feel free to\u00a0contact <strong>Charlie Maughan\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>on 6143 5800 or <a href=\"mailto:charlie@wheelchairsportswa.org.au\">charlie@wheelchairsportswa.org.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is that time of year for\u00a0the Wheelchair Summer Social Tennis Program to begin!
